    You know us as the State Street Exchange too!  We are a small, family owned wine and spirits store here in Greenfield, IN.  We are State Rd. 9 and McKenzie Rd., in front of the Marsh supermarket, but we specialize in the items you won't find there or anywhere else in town!

Mixed Drink Recipes:  The Buttery Crown
  
     This was a delightful surprise for me.  This simple recipe made with Crown Royal and ButterShots creates a smooth, delicious treat.  Served ice cold in a shot glass, the Buttershots, butterscotch flavored schnaps softens the whiskey to create a smooth, crisp drink.  This is one of those recipes you just have to try to appreciate!

      The Buttery Crown:
       1 oz Crown Royal
       1/2 oz ButterShots
        Shake over ice, serve in shot or liqueur glass

  The Scooby Snack!  This yummy mix was submitted by Greenfield Liquors own McKeon.  She is the winner of this week's drink recipe contest and takes home a $25 store credit for her creativity!  You can win too!  Just submit your recipes to Greenfield.liquors@gmail.com!

   The Scooby Snack
   1/2 oz Malibu coconut rum
   1/2 oz Melon liqueur
   1/2 oz Banana liqueur
   1 1/2oz whipping creme

Mix all of the ingredients.  Serve over ice!

Grown up Root Beer float!

If you love a root beer float as a kid, you will enjoy our all grown up version!  We start with a classic,  delicious root  beer and then add Voyant Chai Liqueur.
The result is a sophisticated summer treat!  Try it, you will like it!  

Simply mix 6 oz Sprecher Root Beer
           1 oz Voyant Chai Liqueur
           Serve over ice

Island Breeze 

Greenfield Liquors tasted the Island Breeze and it was quite a
hit...helping us conjure up some tropical thoughts.  I took this
recipe on vacation and shared it with friends at the beach...perfect!

To get in your Island state of mind, Mix the following:

1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
1 oz Blue Curacao Liqueur
4 oz pineapple juice

Serve over lots of ice and Enjoy!

2005 Bouchaine Estate Chardonnay.

 This a classic California style Chardonnay
made by Mike Richmond.  This Carneros beauty has just a light touch of oak in
the background.  It maintains nice, natural acidity which makes it a great wine

Cure for your Chocolate Craving with a classic Chocolate Martini!

This is an easy, delicious recipe for fun!  We use Three Olives
Chocolate vodka and Godiva Chocolate Creme Liqueur in our version.

In a martini shaker, combine

           1 oz Three Olives Chocolate Vodka
           1 oz Godiva Chocolate Creme Liqueur

          Shake well over ice.  Pour and enjoy!

Our first Drink of the Week is the Voyant Root beer Float! You simply must try it! Made with root beer and Voyant Chai liqueur, this is a fun, sweet drink with the classic taste of chai....nutmeg and Cinnamon! In a short glass, mix root beer over ice and add 1 oz of Voyant Chai creme liqueur. Stir and enjoy.

This is great in coffee as well!

I've been working on all our beer inventory this week.  This is one our fastest growing areas in Greenfield Liquors, particularly the microbrews and imports.  We have beers from around the world and our own backyard.   Some of the names are FUN!   Gumball Head, Aged Yeti, Dead Guy Ale, Hazed and Infused and Hoppin' Frog..just to name a few.  We have mix and match 6 packs and many singles available so you can try one at a time!

Full Moon Winter Ale by Blue Moon 

As the winter storm threatens, here at Greenfield Liquors we are embracing winter with a special on Blue Moon's Full Moon Ale. This is a great beer!  The beer reviews suggest the aroma is warm and nutty to start with and it pours a nice rich, amber. There is an essence of brown sugar that comes through very well.  The flavor reflects the aroma as this is a mellow, relaxed beer with deep nutty malts and a velvety texture.

So...get it while it lasts and snuggle up by the fire and enjoy the snow!

It is time to get comfortable with your favorite jeans and this new wine! It is part of Americanna to end a tough day and go home and slip into your favorite jeans. This wine is made with the same philosophy...relaxed and comfortable, yet original.  This red wine is a blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc and many others to keep it interesting.  The aroma is raspberries and a hint of the zinfandel spice.  The flavors are juicy plum with a touch of oaky vanilla on the finish.  It is  semi-dry and easy to drink going easily from pizza to steak.  At  $8.79 a bottle, it is comfortable on your wallet as well.
