No, this has nothing to do with the Oct-Mom in California....but I can relate having four daughters of my own!

7 Daughters Wines are a new addition to State Street Exchange. I opened these delights last week at our weekly tasting on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm.
7 Daughters represents the seven different grapes blended to make two unique wines, a white and a red.
The 7 Daughters White boasts French Colombard, Chardonnay, Riesling, Symphony, Orange Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Sauvigon Blanc. The nose on this wine is a bit of citrus, melon and apricot. The citrus continues on the palate with a pleasant, very lightly sweet quality and a hint of spice. I really enjoyed the blend of grapes and can definitely see this nicely chilled on a spring/summer evening! With a price tag of $13.69 is an affordable treat!
7 Daughters Red Wine blend is another unique blend

of seven grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Carignare and Sangiovese.
The nose here is blackberry with hints of lavender and vanilla. The taste is interesting with red fruit...from blackberries to cherries. The syrah comes through with a closing note of spice on the finish.
The feel of the blend is light and very drinkable. I enjoyed this with salmon after the tasting!
